What Is Jiu Jitsu?

Jiu jitsu is based on clinching and grappling techniques that utilize leverage, angles and timing as its principles. Developed during the early 1920’s in Brazil, Carlos and Helio Gracie created what is now known as Gracie or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
